Instant Translator ("the App") is operated by iKompoz. This policy explains what data is collected and how it is used when you use the App.

Camera Access

The App uses your device camera solely to capture text for translation. Camera frames are processed on-device and are never stored, uploaded, or shared.

Translation Data

When you use online translation (Google Translate), the recognised text is sent to Google's servers to obtain a translation. This transmission is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. In offline (Lens) mode, translation is performed entirely on-device and no text leaves your phone.

No Personal Data Collected

The App does not collect, store, or transmit your name, email address, location, or any other personal information. No account or sign-in is required.

Analytics & Crash Reporting

The App uses Firebase Analytics (Google LLC) to collect anonymous usage data, such as which features are used and how often. This data does not identify you personally and is used solely to improve the App. The App also shows ads via Google AdMob. Where required, we ask for consent before serving personalized ads; otherwise only non-personalized ads are requested. Data Retention

App settings (chosen languages, OCR mode, favourites) are stored locally on your device only. You can clear this data at any time by uninstalling the App. Analytics data retained by Firebase follows Google's standard retention policies.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be available within the App. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
